Who can I speak to if I am unhappy with the service I received?In the event that you are dissatisfied with the service received during a visit to a Houstons store please do not hesitate to call the store manager who will be happy to help rectify the issue at hand. Does Houstons offer Wedding List Services?Absolutely- Houstons offers the option of Wedding List Services across both our Cookshop and Homewares departments. Our staff are highly experienced and happy to help with whatever you may need.
I bought an appliance from one of your cookshops, I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly, can you help?Absolutely! All of our cookshop staff are more than happy to answer any queries you may have about our products. Our staff are highly trained on the use of cookshop appliances and can demonstrate the correct use or you can give your nearest Houstons store a call and a member of the cookshop team will be happy to help.
What is the difference between a gift voucher and a credit voucher?Both gift vouchers and credit vouchers are valid for up to 12 months and can be used in any Houstons store. A Houstons gift voucher can be used across any of our departments including concessions whilst a credit voucher is not valid within our concession departments. Houstons do not take responsibility for any lost or misplaced vouchers.
What ages are available within Houstons’ Childrenswear department?Banbridge Childrenswear department ranges from newborn to age 10. Fitting rooms are available within the store and we would advise that customers make use of these as sizes can vary in fit.
What sizes do we stock in Fashions?In our Ladies’ Fashions department, we stock sizes ranging from 8-18; we advise that our customers make use of our in store fitting rooms as sizes vary from brand to brand.
Do all Houstons stores stock the same items?Not always, some of our stores are larger than others and the ranges stocked vary according. If you are making a special trip for something in particular, please give the store a call first to check that they have it in stock. You can find the telephone number for your nearest store in our Store Finder.
Can I return items bought in the sale?All Houstons stores offer exchanges or refunds on sale items up to and including 50% off, when returned within 10 days of purchase, accompanied with a valid receipt. Exceptions: Due to the nature of the product, we can not offer refunds on the following items unless faulty: Briefs, girdles, quilts, tights/stockings etc, cot matress (if opened), cot sheets (if opened), maternity pillows, cut to measuring table covering, made to measure curtains. Goods must be returned unworn/unused with all labels and packaging intact. Houstons reserve the right to refuse and exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Do Houstons offer refunds/exchanges?Yes. If you are not entirely happy with a purchase cash refunds will be given to products returned within 10 days, accompanied with a valid receipt. Exchanges or credit vouchers will be given for goods returned within 30 days accompanied with a valid receipt. Exceptions: Due to the nature of the product, we can not offer refunds on the following items unless faulty: Briefs, girdles, quilts, tights/stockings etc, cot mattress (if opened), cot sheets (if opened), maternity pillows, cut to measuring table covering, made to measure curtains. Can I hold clothes over until a later date?Certainly! Clothes can be held over for a maximum of four weeks with a deposit, our staff will take your contact details prior to deposit and if the product is not picked up within a four week period a member of staff will contact you to confirm your interest in the goods. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff or give us a call.
Do I have to book an appointment for a bra fitting?Our bras range from 30A-48k; if you are unsure of your size don’t hesitate to ask our trained staff who are happy to help with a fitting. You can call in anytime that suits you but should you prefer a particular member of staff to carry out your fitting, you can certainly call the branch to ensure they will be available.
